Final Idea - Pattern trails

I have created this trial by drawing out a section of the pattern on to paper, scanning in the image, to edit, simply by cutting and repeating the pattern and changing the transparency of the image. I then repeated the process twice to create a pattern, which would sit beside each other.

Final Idea

The idea which I have decided to use is the use of feature walls. This is an idea which has inspired me most, i really like the idea of using a simply colour scheme and applying the scheme to a series of patterns which i have created. The patterns would be abstract and completely random. I really like the idea of taking a basic space and transforming only a section into a piece of art, for example, toilet doors. This theme could run through the whole building and would not disrupt the space. This would be used on plain walls and in basic space.
This idea had no disadvantages and it would not interfere with any other work which was in the building.

I will now discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this design

Advantages:
       - This is design not a system
       - This design will make a ordinary space more interesting
       - This design could carry a theme through out the whole building
       - The design is simple
       - The design does not require any maintainance
